Hey everyone!!!
Sorry, it’s been a while since I updated this blog. Christmas was awesome and I had a wonderful time on Jax nature reserve and game-park. Christmas day was a little interesting, being that it was almost 100 degrees outside and sunny. Haha.
Last weekend I had a chance to stretch my legs, which was awesome. Our base leader, Virmz, decided to take Chris, Adam, and myself up to the top of Table Mountain for a hike that was supposed to only take 2 hours, but ended up taking almost 7!
We now starting on the Old Testament and are currently in Genesis, which has been both an amazing experience and a grueling one. It is the largest book we have had to do up until this point. It took me 3 ½ hours just to read it straight through for my 1st of 5 readings required. Its nice going through more of a story format and basically summarizing rather then analyzing, which is what we have to do through the entire New Testament. The biggest thing that I’ve seen in the book of Genesis is God’s relationship with man and His faithfulness to complete all that He promises to do.
I’m still amazed at how God has brought me through to this point. Relying on his provision has been a huge learning curve for me. Thanks to all of your support in Dec I was able to pay for this semesters tuition. I am still in need of tuition for my 3rd semester, so my mom and sister are going to organize a yard sale for me.
